PGA Golf Professional Rick is known as “Golf’s Mental Coach” as he has worked with beginners to PGA Tour players on how to master the mental game of golf. Rick is also a PGA member and has taught for over 15 years. He is an Instructional Editor for Golf Tips Magazine, contributor to Fox Sport Network, and authored Golf: The Ultimate Mind Game. He teaches at Chevy Chase CC in Glendale, CA and his state of the art indoor facility in Burbank, CA.
I believe to play your best you need to improve three main performance factors:1. Your mental game, 2. Your physical fitness and 3. Your golf skills. I call it integrating your Mind, Body, and Swing for peak performance. Golf is much more than striving for the perfect swing. A golfer needs to be mentally focused, emotionally confident, and physically relaxed to play at one’s best. Unfortunately, most golfers only concentrate on the swing and stay frustrated with their scores year after year. The goal of golf is to get the ball in the hole in the fewest strokes possible and have fun doing it. I teach all my students to enjoy the game more and learn how to play the entire game, not just play golf swing.
