| Teaching
philosophy... |
| My method of teaching is based primarily on the PGA Teaching Manual. Although I have found many useful items in other instructional material, and having the opportunity to work with some of the worlds best teachers, the PGA Teaching Manual has set the standard to which I follow. The body type, laws, principles, preferences, and the learning triangle are what I believe to be the building blocks of golf instruction. I use these blocks to take what the student/athlete has and make it better. I customize lessons based upon the player?s goals, desires, limitations and abilities. I believe there is no one perfect golf swing, but all good swings and great players do have certain fundamentals and commonalities in them. Working on these fundamentals, combined with the mental aspect of the game, I will get you in the best possible position at the moment of truth ?IMPACT? Doing this consistently is the way to better golf! |
